# Guidelines

A community ecosystem only thrives when every participant plays their part. By engaging with a MAIV Community Space, you agree to follow the guidelines below.

{% hint style="info" %}
**Community Space** refers to any online platforms owned, operated, or managed by MAIV, including social media channels, forums, chat groups, and official community hubs.
{% endhint %}

1. **Respect for All Members**

Harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and toxic behavior will not be tolerated. Engage respectfully and communicate with good intent.

2. **Boundaries Matter**

Maintain civility. Do not engage in tag teaming or collective bullying. If you have issues with another member, disengage rather than escalate.

3. **No Trolling**

Trolling—whether through inflammatory remarks, baiting, or provoking arguments—is not allowed. Participate meaningfully or not at all.

4. **No Spam, Promotions, or Unsolicited Advertising**

Avoid spamming, excessive self-promotion, or promoting third-party products and services without permission. Keep discussions relevant to the community.

5. **No NSFW, Gore, or Inappropriate Content**

Content that is explicit, violent, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate has no place in our Community Spaces.

6. **Impersonation and Ban Evasion are Prohibited**

Do not impersonate team members, bots, or other users. Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or restrictions is strictly forbidden.

7. **FUD is Not Welcome**

Misinformation, baseless speculation, unwarranted negativity, and doom-posting will not be tolerated. Thoughtful critique is welcomed, but fear-mongering dressed up as 'constructive feedback' will not be allowed.

8. **Illegal Activities Will Not Be Tolerated**

Discussions or actions that involve illegal activities, including fraud, are strictly prohibited.

9. **Privacy is Paramount**

Do not share private information about other members without explicit consent. Everyone has a right to privacy.

10. **Maintain Appropriate Language**

Use language that is suitable for all audiences. Excessive profanity, offensive slurs, or otherwise inappropriate speech will be removed.

11. **Keep Politics & Ideology Out of the Conversation**

Political and ideological debates do not belong in our Community Spaces. Content that sparks divisive or controversial debates will be removed.

12. **Rule Enforcement is Impartial**

Rules apply to all members equally. Our Community Team has the right to remove content and accounts that violate these guidelines.

13. **Report Violations**

If you come across behavior that violates these guidelines, report it promptly. Reports made in good faith are valued, and retaliation against those who report will not be tolerated.

14. **Warnings and Bans are Final**

Enforcement actions, including warnings and bans, are non-negotiable. Messaging our Community Team to appeal decisions will not be entertained.

15. **Ignorance of the Rules is Not an Excuse**

Not knowing the rules does not exempt members from compliance. It is your responsibility to stay informed.

16. **Use Good Judgement**

Beyond the listed rules, any action deemed harmful to the integrity of our Community Spaces or the MAIV brand may result in enforcement action. Think before you act.

17. **These Guidelines May Evolve**

This is a living document. As our Community Spaces grow, these rules may be updated to reflect new challenges and maintain a healthy space. It is your responsibility to stay informed of any changes.
