✍️Signing Up

Learn how to sign up here.

First, you'll need to signup! Go to https://app.maiv.io and click 'Sign Up' at the bottom of the page.

You'll be taken to the signup page. The first-time signup page requires some information about yourself, including what type of investor you are, and how much you're likely to invest.

The MAIV Investment Platform will require KYC in order to participate in investment opportunities. This will come in Phase Two of the platform rollout.

You MUST ensure that the information you provide here matches the information you later provide as KYC. In other words, be sure to use your real identity at signup if you wish to participate in investment opportunities.

Staking and membership tiers can be accessed during Phase One without KYC.

Ensure you've filled everything out correctly. Most investors with a net worth under $1M will be considered a retail investor. Try to estimate the size of your yearly investment amount to the best of your knowledge. If you are an individual and not joining on behalf of an organisation, leave this blank. The rest of the fields are required.

Next, you'll need to confirm your email. Look for a code sent to the email you signed up with. Check your spam folder if you don't receive it after a few minutes. Do not share this code with anyone. It will come from [e-mail] - beware fake emails.

Now, you need to set a strong password. Enter your password and click 'continue'.

Congratulations, you're through to the final step. You may now wish to claim a membership. Please note, you don't have to claim a membership at this stage. You can select 'Free Plan', scroll to the bottom, and 'Continue', and then claim a membership at a later stage.

You can always upgrade your membership. If you lock for 6 months at tier 2 for example, you can upgrade to tier 3 at a later date. However, you cannot 'downgrade' memberships - once it's locked it is locked for the duration selected. So consider carefully which duration and membership tier you want.

For this example, we'll select 'free plan' and claim a membership later, in our membership guides. Hit 'Continue'.

You now have the option to link your wallet. When you link your wallet, it will be permanently linked to this account. Currently, you can only link one wallet per account, as this will be the whitelisted address through which you participate in investment opportunities.

Click 'Link Wallet', and follow the instructions in the lightbox. The MAIV platform supports multiple wallets through WalletConnect, or MetaMask, Binance Wallet, 1Inch, etc.

Select your desired wallet and then follow the prompts. Each wallet is different but the general flow will be the same - you will receive an approval request to link your wallet to the MAIV app. Check everything looks ok and go ahead and connect.

Once connected, your account interface will look like the one below - you will see it's chaged to 'Wallet Linked', with your EVM address displayed, and also you'll notice that it's now displaying the network in the top right hand corner. Please note, you can see that Base network is available in the drop down here, but that is coming soon and it's not currently available.

You will also notice that your account is 'Pending Verification'. This is normal at this stage and will remain so until Phase Two when KYC is introduced. It doest NOT stop you from using all available functions of the platform in Phase One.
